Getting Started
Requesting an account and accessing the system.
In order to access this system you must be a member of staff for one of the following:
- Circular Communities Scotland
- A consortium member organisation
- A local authority/buyer signed up with the Consortium
If you meet the above requirement, you can request an account.
There is a button on the bottom left hand side of the homepage called "Request Account",
click on that to access the form.
The form asks for the following information:
- Email Address
- Firstname
- Surname
- Whether you work for Circular Communities Scotland, a consortium member or a local authority/buyer
- The exact organisation*
- A strong password**, which you have to type twice to confirm.
* If your organisation doesn't appear in the list, please contact Circular Communities Scotland on 01786 469 002
** A strong password must contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter,
a number and a non-alpha numeric character. It must be at least 8 characters long.
Once you've filled in the form and clicked the "Register" button, you will automatically be sent an email to the address you entered on the form.
The purpose of this is to ensure the email address is correct and that the system can email you without issue. Within this
email, there will be a verification link which you need to click to verify your account.
This step must be done within
20 minutes of receiving the email. If this time is surpassed, don't worry. The system will send another verification email
each time you try and login using an unverified account.
System administrators will be notified of your registration and they will set your access according to the organisation you work for.
Once this is done, you will receive an email informing you that the system is ready to use.
You can now log into the system using the "Log in" link displayed on the top right hand side of the page or via the blue "Log In" button on the
homepage.
Once you have successfully logged on to the system, this help guide will contain all the necessary advice relevant for your role.
